The pastor who has been identified as Peter Godwin said in the video that he was employed as a pastor in Living Faith on the 28th of August, 2020, but on July 1, 2021, he and over 40 other pastors were invited and given sack letters.
According to Mr. Godwin, when he called the management the next day for clarifications, he was told: “the church doesn’t operate at a loss.”
He added that the management went further to explain to him his returns could not take care of him.
“They also told me the total income that is being generated from my station should be able to cater for my welfare and accommodation, so as a result of low income, I’m hereby dismissed.” Read Also

Reacting to this, Bishop David Oyedepo told his congregation it was not about money but the pastors were just unfruitful.
“People are confused about our ministry. Some fellow said they are not bringing income that is why we asked him to go. We ask you to go because you are unfruitful. Blatant failures… we do not entertain failures here,” Bishop Oyedepo was heard saying a new video that has popped up on social media.
Social media users are asking how a Man of God who has one of the largest churches in Nigeria and a net worth of well over $150 million would sack a branch pastor in a rural area over low returns.
