On Saturday, October 9, 2021, the Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Hon. George Mireku Duker who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem clean engaged the good people of Nkwanta and Nsuaem his constituency as part of his usual touch with the people.
Nsuaem hosts the larger part of the infrastructural projects he initiated in his first term.
During his visit, the good people of Nkwanta, the chiefs and people applauded his service to them and appreciated his contribution towards the completion of their community center which they started decades ago.
Hon Duker donated four(4) sewing machines to four (4) young women who have expressed interest in tailoring. He has taken up all their cost over their training period.
He further donated ten (10) pieces of Photocell Streetlights to beef up visibility in the community; and Assured them of timely completion of their clinic he started.He replicated the same donation and commitment made at Nkwanta as stated above.
He used the opportunity to inspect progress on some infrastructure projects he initiated there. He is very glad to state that, the 6-unit classroom block is completed & awaiting commissioning, nsuaem inner-town roads, nsuaem Polyclinic, and New Secondary School Project for the community are all fast progressing towards completion.
He indicated to the communities that, the fact that he didn’t win those two (2) communities will never let my efforts down in finishing those iconic projects. In fact, their votes were part of the victory.
The good people in their submission pleaded over regrets of some of their actions in the just-ended elections.

He later engaged his Electoral Area Coordinators ahead of the Western Regional Annual Delegates Conference, to account to them my activities so far, commend them for their good works, and strengthening our fronts as we strategize to break the 8.
Together, we will make Tarkwa-Nsuaem a better place.
