On Wednesday 4th August, 2021, the Dr. Prince Hamid Armah Foundation presented another set of sewing machines and hair dryers to some dressmakers and hairdressers in the Kwesimintsim Constituency.

An earlier event saw 30 beneficiaries taking home 15 hair dryers and 15 sewing machines. At today’s event the Foundation presented 25 hair dryers and 15 sewing machines to the beneficiaries.

The presentation, which is the result of a partnership with the Micro and Small Loans Centre, is part of the Foundation’s programme to facilitate entrepreneurship and job creation in Kwesimintsim. It is expected that the equipment will help the beneficiaries to start or grow their businesses and increase their income.

Beneficiaries thanked the leadership of the Foundation, especially its founder, Honourable Dr Prince Hamid Armah, who is also Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim for the assistance and promised to put the equipment to good use.

Through interventions such as these, the Foundation is making a real impact in the lives of people in Kwesimintsim and beyond.
