The president, Nana Akufo Addo has asked the education minister Hon. Opoku Prempeh to engage the Ghana Education service (GES) to change its decision regarding the ban of some 14 final year students from taking part in the ongoing west African senior school certificate examination (WASSCE).
This dismissal of the 14 students were from five different senior high schools, for roiting during thier intergrathed scince paper.
The student are from Tweneboa Kodua SHS, Kade SHTS, Sekondi College, Battor SHS, and Juaben SHS.
A statement signed by the director of communications Eugene Ahrin says, ”indeed all other punishment imposed by the relevant authorities should remain in place.”
