Yesterday, October 15, 2020, I engaged my constituents at the Essikafoambantem Number 1 electoral area in what my executives and I have dubbed, “Time With Kobby”, a series to be rolled out in all the electoral areas making up our constituency, the Takoradi constituency. It was another engagement used to propagate the good works of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and what he’s promised to deliver when voted for and that of myself.
Additionally, I accounted for my stewardship as the MP for the constituency, especially, what we’ve achieved for the people of Essikafoambantem Number 1 electoral area.
My Chairman, Mr. Prince Arthur reiterated the need for the constituents to vote massively for H.E. Nana Addo for them to secure their children’s future, particularly, concerned the Free Senior High School policy.
I stressed that I’m very much grateful to H.E. Nana Addo because I have FSHS beneficiary in my house and enrollment now has jumped from 13000 to 27000. So the question I have joined many well meaning individuals to ask is, whose child should stay behind?
That not withstanding, I equally stressed that those who said FSHS was not possible are now practically enjoying it. Various speakers enumerated the strides of success we have chalked as a constituency, from human empowerment and development to facility resourcing, from projects and interventions to technology and innovation, from sanitation and water projects to safety and security issues.
I further revealed that our cold store at Amanful will be commissioned soon.
Concerned the opposition’s falsehood, I exposed and emptied their deceitful ‘tank’ which has no place in Takoradi constituency.
Hon. Kobby Okyere Darko-Mensah, Member of Parliament – Takoradi Constituency and Western Regional Minister.
