Today, Thursday, 13th May 2021, I joined the Imams and respected muslim brethren of Takoradi and Sekondi Central Mosques to pray with them respectively on the occasion of Eid celebration.
In each of the mosques, I offered the Eid prayers to Allah for a successful fast, prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection against Covid-19 and wisdom for the governance and development of Western Region and Ghana.
Indeed, it has been “festival of breaking the fast” characterised not only in terms of Eid prayers but also festive meals, gift-giving and charity.
