Early this morning, September 13, 2021, I paid a working visit to some selected Senior High Schools (SHSs) in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis to observe the commencement of this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The schools were Ahantaman Girls SHS, St. John’s SHS, and Archbishop Porter Girls SHS. The visit was to monitor proceedings and also, how best the students were observing the Covid-19 protocols.

I was excited at the level of compliance and also happy with the level of enrolment.

I advised the students to comply with all the examination rules and regulations, most importantly, for them not to fear but to put up their best.

Hon. Kobby Okyere Darko-Mensah, Western Regional Minister and MP for Takoradi.
